Micro-Star International (MSI) (Traditional Chinese: 微星科技) is a famous computer hardware and electronics company headquartered in Taiwan and one of the world's largest motherboard and video card manufacturers. History MSI was founded in August 1986 in Taiwan, by 5 founders, Xu Xiang, Frank Lin, Jens Huang, Huang Janyin, Joseph Hsu. Initially focused on the manufacture of motherboards with a visual display card, the company produced in 1987 the first motherboard, which increased the company's fame.
